INTRODUCTION

MBf Corporation Berhad (''MBf Corp") , an investment holding company was incorporated on 1 April 2002, assumed the listing status of MBf Capital Berhad on 25 August 2003 in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ('Bursa Securities"). This came about with the completion of MBf Capital Berhad debts restructuring scheme ("scheme") and the injection of assets by a white knight as an integral part of the scheme. However, MBf Corp was delisted from Bursa Securities on 6 August 2007 as MBf Corp does not have the adequate level of financial condition to warrant continued listing on the Bursa Securities.

Initially, the principal activities of the MBf Corp Group were in leisure and timeshare, property development and management, hotel and resort, leasing and facility and credit card operation in Indonesia. Over the years as part of the Group streamlining and rationalization exercise, the Group now focus its core activities on leisure and timeshare business and property development through Leisure Holidays Bhd and Leisure Commerce Square Sdn Bhd respectively.

MBf Corp undertook a Selective Capital Reduction and Repayment Eexercise pursuant to Section 116 of the Companies Act 2016 via an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 28 June 2023 which was successfully completed on 15 November 2023.

On 19 March 2024, MBf Corp converted from a public company to a private company and officially known as MBf Corporation Sdn Bhd.
